A visionary with passion for recreation and the outdoors, Horovitz saw an opportunity to make a simple and cost-effective way for people to experience an outdoor lifestyle and for owners of recreational equipment to subsidize the cost of ownership. From this idea, Horovitz founded URentMe in 2016 and uses his 25 years of career experience across multiple industries and practiced discipline as a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu to accelerate the company.

I grew revenues over 500% during my tenure, while maintaining a high level of profitability. My experience with sales leadership and network technology will be the glue to success.
Joseph F. Montes is a senior advisor and equity owner of Voice Wave Therapeutics (VWT) a Los Angeles-based Medical Soundwave Technology company that distributes frequencies to balance out any medical anomolies in the human body.
Mr. Montes is a veteran of the United States Air Force (1982-1987) and a former police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, which he served from 1987 to 1999 as a patrol officer, training officer, detective trainee, and academy instructor. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in public administration and a master’s degree in law from The University of Southern California.
Mr. Montes took leave from the LAPD and studied the British Policing model at The London School of Economics on a full scholarship. Mr. Montes returned to the United Kingdom to study International Security & Law at Cambridge University, England.
Mr. Montes completed a judicial clerkship in The United States Court of Appeals For The Federal Circuit, Washington, D.C. for the Honorable Judge Evan J. Wallach. After leaving policing, Mr. Montes joined the investment banking industry as a private banker and later as an investment banker where he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., HSBC and Union Bank. In this capacity, Montes worked with some of the wealthiest families in Mexico, the Middle East and Japan and sourced and supervised both investment banking and private equity transactions on their behalf.
Mr. Montes was appointed as Los Angeles City Commissioner to the Industrial Development Authority for the city of Los Angeles’s Community Development Department in November 2007 -November 2016. Mr. Montes also served on the board of directors for the Fulbright Scholarship Association in Washington, D.C. Joe completed the Harvard –Kennedy School of Government program Senior Executives in National & International Security (class 2014), and attended the Army War College, at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania as a National Security Seminar student (class of 2015.) and the United States Air Force , Air War College, at Maxwell AFB, Alabama as a National Security Seminar student (class 2016.)
Mr. Montes has been executing private equity deals since 2010 and has vast experience in negotiations, due diligence and articulating a valuation thesis.
Dom is an entrepreneur and private investor with deep experience in finance and technology. He graduated from Long Beach State University where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. Mr. Alvarez has over 25 years in and around the financial services arena and built a robust client base whilst at Merrill Lynch.
At 29 years old he was the youngest Sales Manager in the firms history while being featured in a 100MM advertising campaign for Wahoo's Fish Taco. He currently serves on the boards of several major technology companies. He was the lead on many transactions including Bags to Go, Piccadilly Restaurants, Aloha Airlines, ERA Aviation, Swift Exchange, Elite Models, Telecom Pacific Investments, Neways International, Paramount Defenses as well as led a major investment in (IEP:NYSE) and Katsuya, Laguna Beach with Sam Nazarian. Mr. Alvarez is also an advisor and minority equity owner in V W T - a Vibrational Medicine Technology that analyzes and delivers frequencies in lieu of taking medications. Mr. Alvarez also sat on the The Board of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange for 12 years two years more than the original term of 10 years. Mr. Alvarez is committed to clean water, clean food, clean air, animals and equities. Mr. Alvarez and his family reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brooke Gabbert is an accomplished senior executive and consultant with more than two decades of experience in marketing and communications. Throughout her executive career, Brooke has held leadership positions at HomeAdvisor, Six Flags, The Denver Public Library, and Rural/Metro Corporation. In 2018, Brooke founded PennStreet Communications, a strategic marketing communications firm, specializing in branding, public relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and marketing strategy. She holds a Master’s degree in public relations and advertising from DePaul University.
Charles has joined URentMe and is excited to be part of this explosive sharing economy and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. He graduated at WVU with a BS in marketing. Charles currently owns and operates multiple businesses including 5 Premier Auto dealerships. He is a part of the executive management team which owns and operates several hotel holdings and a power shopping center. In addition, he is also involved at a high level with multiple equity ownership stakes in hotels and other private equity ventures. Charles holds several investments additionally in private technology and software equity ventures.
He has been a guest speaker on a panel about technology in the auto business and has authored books. Charles is a strong and devoted family man. He is an author of a best-selling book “If Winning were Easy, Losers would do It”. He enjoys public speaking and teaching investing and specifically about short term rentals on Airbnb and VRBO.
Brian joined URentMe with a passion for powersports and growing our “shared economy.” Seeing that URentMe had successfully built a platform for peer-to-peer powersport rentals, Brian was quick to recognize the URentMe value. Brian is an insurance professional with extensive background in designing and building unique and highly customized alternative risk management programs. As URentMe grows and evolves, Brian’s expertise is utilized to ensure owners and renters have the best coverage at the most efficient rates.
Ratan Agarwal is an accomplished Senior Executive, Consultant, and Board Member with 20+ years of success in the Information Technology & networking, IoT, Cloud/SaaS, Services, healthcare, and auto industries. Leveraging extensive experience with innovation, business incubation, scaling&transformation, Ratan is a valuable asset for companies seeking guidance on driving top-line growth and sustained bottom-line improvements. Ratan holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School; a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and he was selected for Cisco’s Services Leadership Development Program. Ratan serves onboards for FallCall Solutions andDXi.
On graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York) Gerry started his career as the sales representative of an Austrian company selling heavy equipment accessories into the mining, logging and construction industries in the US, Mexico and Canada. He grew that New Jersey subsidiary into a multimillion dollar business within a few years. His interest in software and knowledge of the equipment dealer distribution business led him to a partnership in a Rhode Island company providing dealer management software solutions to motorcycle, boat, atv and recreational vehicle dealerships. Along the way he earned an MBA from Pace University in New York City.
In 1990 Gerry transitioned to Reynolds and Reynolds (Ohio based automotive dealership software) and after 17 years of increased sales management responsibility, moved to Dealertrack (New York). There he created the sales operations team and initially ran inside sales teams. After 9 years of accumulating more sales management responsibility and acquiring software companies his teams weregenerating 75% of new dealer software business as Sales VP. At close to a billion dollars in annual revenue, DealerTrack was acquired by Cox Automotive.
He currently owns a commercial building maintenance company in Salt Lake City, Utah and advises equity investment companies on automotive dealership software developments.
